About
Hannah is a director, producer, writer and actor who has worked in film and theatre across four continents.
After graduating top of her year from John Curtin College of the Arts, Hannah trained as an actor in New York City at the Atlantic Acting School, founded by David Mamet and William H. Macy. At Atlantic she discovered her innate talent for directing when she directed Mercury Fur by Philip Ridley, a production lauded as “the most successful company show in the school’s history.”
She went on to produce, direct, and/or perform in about a dozen short films & documentaries while continuing to stay active on the international fringe festival theater circuit (five projects at four festivals on two continents over twelve months).
While completing her Masters WA Screen Academy, her directing projects include Two Girls, One on Each Knee, Indefinable, and The Unbearable Lightness of Meat-Eating.
Her unique skill set combines a keen visual eye and natural sense of storytelling with a producer’s sensibility and entrepreneurial attitude.
